Cooley Coast Run

The sixth annual Cooley Coast Run has been confirmed for Friday 20th May 2015. This is a 12.5k Road Race & a 10k run/walk along Cooley’s famous coast line, taking in the wonderful scenery of Carlingford Lough and the Mourne and Cooley mountains. This is now an established event on the running calendar with approximately 500 participants annually. Prize categories in the 12.5k race include over 45s and over 50s for both Male and Female races. Táin March Festival 2016

The march starts in Roscommon and comes through Loughcrew, Clonabreany, Crossakiel, Kells, Martry, Teltown, Slane and onwards, ending in County Louth. It is being run by the Carlingford Peninsula Tourism Office – Frances Taylor, Tourism officer and the co-ordinator for the March is Tom Laramie.
