Absolutely fantastic house. Great size for our party of 16. All utensils and glassware you could think of. Highly recommend this house for larger party’s and it’s about 15mins drive away from carlingford town. Richard the host is very responsive and helpful. The house is clean and airy with very comfortable beds.
We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Berta’s Lodge in Co. Louth. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The facilities were outstanding—everything you could possibly need was provided, and it was all maintained to the highest standard. The lodge itself was immaculately clean, which made it feel even more welcoming and comfortable. You can really tell that a lot of care and attention goes into keeping the place spotless. The scenery surrounding the lodge was simply breathtaking—perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Waking up to those views each morning was a real highlight of the trip. Inside, the lodge was incredibly warm and cosy, creating the perfect atmosphere for a peaceful getaway. It truly felt like a home away from home. We couldn’t recommend Berta’s Lodge highly enough and will definitely be returning!
