The Space

Welcome to Rosemount Glamping, a serene adults-only retreat nestled at the foothills of the Cooley Mountains. Here, you will find three beautiful bell tents, each designed to offer an intimate and cozy atmosphere perfect for couples. The tents boast stunning views of the shimmering Carlingford Lough and the majestic Mourne Mountains, creating an idyllic backdrop for your escape. Each tent comfortably accommodates two guests with a plush double bed, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a day filled with adventure. The unique layout includes an outdoor kitchen equipped with essential cooking utensils, a barbeque for those perfect evenings under the stars, and a cozy seating area where you can unwind with a glass of wine. You’ll also find a private compost toilet and a hot shower, available during daylight hours for your convenience. A pellet stove warms the tent, adding to the charm of your glamping experience—perfect for chilly evenings.

We recommend arriving by car, as free parking is available on-site. You are just a short drive from local attractions, including the famous Carlingford Ferry Service and the historical Famine Village, which is just a five-minute walk away.

What to Expect

1. Arrival
   Check-in begins at 16:00. Upon arrival, you will find ample parking available near your tent. Access to your tent is easy, and our friendly staff will be on hand to help you settle in.
2. Settling In
   Once you’ve settled into your tent, you’ll find it beautifully arranged with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Enjoy the outdoor kitchen, and don’t forget to make use of the barbeque while soaking in the stunning surroundings.
3. During Your Stay
   Explore the local area, which is rich in history and natural beauty. The nearby Famine Village offers a glimpse into the past, while the Cooley Mountains provide endless opportunities for hiking and adventure. The charming village of Carlingford is just a short drive away, where you can explore local shops and enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants.
4. Departure
